West 18th Street Fashion Show - Awesome!!!

Have you ever seen some one that you thought was so talented. On this warm evening with soft blowing wind there was the largest fashion show in Kansas City. Lots of designers from all over were showing their goods. It was held downtown on West 18th. The runway was right in the middle of the street with seats all around anticipating the newest edge fashion worn by beautiful models of men, women and children. We had front row seats, given a VIP bag full of goodies. We felt so special. The Teeth Whitening Studio was even given a loud mention and a special thanks for whitening the models teeth. Did I mention there were over 100 models? We did not whiten all the models but we were kept mighty busy. The fashion show was a huge success and we look forward to next year!

Christmas Lighting Ceremony

Downtown Lee's Summit is having their lighting of the whole downtown on Nov. 21st 2008. I would start coming here at 6:00 for the joyous music, hot cocoa and Santa!!! It is not the plaza lighting but it is fabulously fun and you can still enjoy the many great shops and businesses down here that night. We will see you there!!!

Celebrities

Okay we haven't had actual celebrities like Jennifer Anniston or George Clooney but we have had some from the Kansas City area. Bobbie Zarda, you know the owners of Zarda BBQ, is one of the funniest fun women I have ever met. Loved your coat Bobbie! We have also had the pleasure of whitening some top attorneys, I came in on a Sunday at 8:00 am for them! They wanted pearly whites for a huge court case that involved tasering a 70 year old lady. Girls you would have just died when the football player came from L. A. He is the kicker and his name is Daniel. Guys if you love girls that can play sports then the girls from Kansas City Rugby team would have been for you. The owner of Discover Vision Center, a doc of the eyes, owner of Yellow Freight, some firemen and policemen, and models of Summer of the Sea West 18th Fashion show. I know there is more but I will have to remember cause I don't get star stuck! I will keep you updated.

KCPT Live Auction

Have you ever been on TV? We at The Teeth Whitening Studio was on Saturday June 21st. Well, I wasn't I let my husband, daughter and son and some of the people that work at The Teeth Whitening Studio have the thrills. No I am not camera shy just fat. You see I have back problems and with the stress of my son who is always ill I found food to be my friend. So I watched it in my bed with my friend named bon-bon . I was just too embarrassed to go on camera. What is a chubby girl to do? We also donated $300 for their auction.

Back in the Swing

Did you go shopping during the week of Oct.13th-ish? It was a great week. Lots of people getting their teeth whitened. Gosh, I bet there were a couple hundred stores participating in this week long event. Discounts galore! You could shop in downtown Lee's Summit, in Brookside, on the Plaza at some big malls and some little malls, you could have shopped here and there! It was for a worthy cause, helping our community's breast cancer survivors!

Wild West Rockin' Auction and BBQ

This was for the Lee's Summit West Touchdown Club. The Teeth Whitening Studio contributed to the annual fundraiser to benefit the Titan football program. Because of our contribution and others they were able to meet their goal this year. This helped pay for equipment and supplies that cannot be covered by the district and must be raised independently or donated directly. Glad we could help now go and win some games!

The Cattle Baron's Ball

This was the 27th year of this hootin and hollering time! The Teeth Whitening Studio donated $200 worth of freebies on August 23rd 2008. This is for research, advocacy and awareness to help eliminate the threat of cancer on our society. They provide services to improve the quality of life for patients and their family members. The generosity of others funds services such services like their Hope Lodge, Look Good...Feel Better, a program that assists in the restoration of cancer patients appearance and esteem. Also, they are able to provide nutritional supplements, gas cards, wigs, turbans, the list just goes on and on. So giddy up Cowboys and Cowgirls! This was held in a ballroom where there was a stampede of people all dressed in fancies!

Piccadilly Gala

What did I say? Piccadilly, is what I said. Fun word uh? This year's theme was Fire and Ice. Over 450 women was treated with hospitality by Downtown Lee's Summit business owners while they enjoyed a sit down dinner, silent auction and the favorite, Piccadilly Auction. Proceeds benefit Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street's continuing successful efforts to revitalize our historic downtown area. I was the door opener. I held that door open so ladies didn't have to lift a finger. Wow, there was some gorgeous gowns at this event that had fire rearing out of the middle of tables. Every year this event sells out and next year ladies watch out I am going to be the first person in line! Last year the event was held September 18th, 2008 so I guess next year it will be around that time too. Tickets go on sales a couple months before the event. Beauchamps on the Rail catered this event, yummy yummy! Of course The Teeth Whitening Studio donated, as always!

Jessi's Jam

Here is another event that The Teeth Whitening Studio donated to and also attended. Their website is jessis-jam.com. You can learn all about this worthy cause. This event was held at Beauchamps on the Rail in Lee's Summit. It was rockin! Great food! Did I just hear my stomach growl and my feet start tapping again? This event is for kids battling cancer. Sad isn't it? They raised $4,451! Cha Ching! They doubled the amount from last year. Glad we could help!
